How it is used

Heat Treating is a process of heating metal and cooling it  under tight panels to increase its properties, performance and sturdiness. Heat treating can soften metal, to develop formability. This process improves wear resistance by hardening the material. During this procedure, the roll of wire mesh is exposed to terrific heat (while staying well below its melting point) and pressure. Heating wire mesh decreases the internal stress and hardness of the weave, making it easier to form.
