Shipping
Do you offer blind shipments and drop shipments?
Yes, both. A blind shipment keeps our name from your customer. A drop shipment goes straight from our facility to your customer, which saves time and money for you both.
We use generic shipping labels as routine and can use your own.
Do you offer expediting services?
Yes: same day shipment, pick-up and expedited fabrication. Stock material is routinely shipped on the day the order is placed.
Do you offer special packaging?
Yes. Common requests are flat shipment, pieces packed and marked one by one, extra protection, consolidated shipments and custom boxes.
Contact us to discuss yours. Extra charges may apply.
What is your damaged shipment policy?
Check the package for outside damage when it arrives, and photograph any you find. Note the damage on the delivery receipt and other paperwork before you accept delivery.
If the material inside is damaged, make a claim with the carrier. Filing the claim and calling for an inspection promptly are the customer's responsibility.
Orders and returns
What is your cancellation policy?
We start filling an order as soon as it is placed, whether verbally or by purchase order, so check your specification, quantity and dimensions first.
Custom manufacturing, fabricated parts and cut-to-size pieces cannot be cancelled.
What is your return policy?
Inspect the material when it arrives, before you cut, fabricate or ship it on, to confirm it is as ordered.
We reserve the right to inspect material before issuing a credit, refund or replacement, and check it against the tolerances, defects and blemishes in ASTM E2016-11 or other applicable standards. Return shipping is at the customer's cost unless the error was ours.
We may not be able to accept returns of items ordered incorrectly, mesh that has been cut, fabricated parts or custom manufactured items.
Quality and certificates
What is your chemical and physical certification policy?
We offer chemical and physical certification for most woven or welded wire mesh. Ask for it clearly on your written purchase order.
What are your quality standards?
Wire mesh is an industrial product, made for function first. Most of our wire mesh follows ASTM E2016-11, the standard specification for industrial woven wire cloth.
It says wire cloth shall be woven with first-class workmanship, although some blemishes or defects are inherent in weaving.
What are your quantity tolerances?
Most of our wire mesh follows ASTM E2016-11, which sets out the tolerances used in the wire mesh trade in detail. Buyers should be familiar with it: it is available from www.astm.org.
Can you recommend a mesh for my application?
If you are unsure which mesh will work best, we suggest sampling, prototyping or speaking to an expert or engineer in your industry.
