About this product
High molybdenum concentration makes grade 316 more resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion than grade 304 in saline environments. Stainless Steel 316 grade has good forming and welding characteristics and is preferred when a project requires heavy welding. Stainless Steel has high tensile strength, temperature resistance, impact resistance, and excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Stainless steel also comprises variable quantities of carbon, silicon, manganese, and other elements such as nickel and molybdenum can be added to impart other advantageous properties such as enhanced formability and increased corrosion resistance. Stainless Steel has these characteristics, in combination with usually low cost, greater sustainability, and superior aesthetic appearance, have led it to become one of the most extensively used construction materials across a varied set of industries.
316 Stainless Steel Welded Wire Mesh or wire netting is a most popular and versatile item that many different customers use for many different applications. 316 Stainless Steel Welded Wire Mesh is materially welded at each intersection; the mesh will remain intact and rigid. Strong and consistent welds make 316 Stainless Steel Welded Wire Mesh an ideal option for general industrial use because welded mesh can be cut down to smaller sizes, like squares or discs, rectangles, without fraying, which can occur when fabricating with a woven mesh. 316 Stainless Steel Welded Wire Mesh can be used as woven wire filter cloth to filter liquid, solid and gas in the filtering industries, such as the filter discs, dipping baskets, filter tubes, test sieves, filter elements or strainers. 316 Stainless Steel Welded Wire Mesh provides the most resistive railings as it wears resistivity of heat, acid, and corrosions, etc. 316 Stainless Steel Welded Wire Mesh high resistance makes its applications in a wide range such as chemical industries, mining areas, food industries, and pharmaceutical industries.
316 Stainless Steel Welded Wire Mesh is easy to work with and is available in different hole sizes, and thickness and other configurations in order to meet your specific application requirements.
Applications
316 Stainless Steel Welded Wire Mesh or wire cloth is widely used in infill panel & railing systems, wall cladding, industrial fan & machine guards, air vents & soffit screens, security enclosures, ceiling panels, animal retention (cages), aviary & bird screen, basket fabrication, decorative signage, small critter control, room dividers, racking & storage, industrial separation, food applications, and many more. 316 Stainless Steel Welded Wire Mesh finds applications in sugar graders, for shifting and grading of chemicals, used for cement industries, powders, minerals, and pigments, used for stone crushing industries.
