How it is made
Reverse Dutch weave
The opposite of Dutch weave: many thin warp wires and fewer, thicker weft wires. It stays stable and resists high pressure.

About this product
Compared to copper, Brass has low electrical conductivity and is frequently used in sieving diversified pellets, powder, porcelain clay and glass, chinaware printing, filtering liquid and gas. The chemical composition of brass is 60-70% copper plus 30-40% zinc. Brass is superior to copper in abrasion resistance and tensile strength, but electrical conductivity of brass wire is considerably lower than that for copper wire. Brass mesh can be bent by hand and effortlessly cut with tin snips and a common scissor.
Brass Reverse Dutch Weave Wire Mesh has more thin warp wires and fewer, but larger, weft wires as this structure provides a high degree of stability and optimal resistance to high pressure. Reverse Dutch weave wire mesh is specially designed for filtering and has a very high level of mechanical load and a high flow and porosity level. Brass Reverse Dutch Weave Wire Mesh is manufactured with smaller warp wires that are more numerous than the weft wires. Smaller and closer wrap wires together with the weft wires form triangular shaped transversal openings. The same weave as Plain Dutch except the warp and Shute wires are reversed; i.e., the warp wires have a smaller diameter than the Shute wires. The type of cloth is mechanically highly sturdy with a high throughput and it does particularly well in high pressure vertical and horizontal filter leaf applications where backwashing and filter cake removal are vital.
Brass Reverse Dutch Weave Wire Mesh is available in different sizes and wide-range can be customized to fit your exact specifications in order to meet your specific application requirements.
Applications
Brass Reverse Dutch Weave Wire Mesh is used for filtering dense materials since it supports greater loads than the dutch weave and has finer openings than the plain weave and is extensively used as the finest filtration in hydraulic systems, especially for critical applications, such as aero-space and fuel, etc.
