About this product
Reverse Dutch Woven Wire Mesh has more thin warp wires and fewer, but larger, weft wires as this structure provides a high degree of stability and optimal resistance to high pressure. Reverse Dutch Woven Wire Mesh is specially designed for filtering. The reverse dutch weave has a very high level of mechanical load and a high flow and porosity level. Reverse Dutch Woven Wire Mesh is manufactured with smaller warp wires that are more numerous than the weft wires. Smaller and closer wrap wires together with the weft wires form triangular shaped transversal openings. The same weave as Plain Dutch except the warp and Shute wires are reversed; i.e., the warp wires have a smaller diameter than the Shute wires. The type of cloth is mechanically highly sturdy with a high throughput and it does particularly well in high pressure vertical and horizontal filter leaf applications where backwashing and filter cake removal are vital.
It is particularly useful because it works perfectly with hot or cold liquids, is extremely chemical resistant, and can be easily cleaned. Reverse Dutch Weave Woven Wire Mesh is normally woven on looms, like looms that are normally used to weave cloth. In this case, wires, not yarn, are used to produce wire mesh. The loom terms—heddles, reeds, and bobbin—are the same. Because the pre-straightened wires are welded at the intersections, relatively thinner diameter wires can be used over larger spaces. The mesh itself will remain strong and stable with a high percentage of open area.
Reverse Dutch Weave Woven Wire Meshes are exceptionally multipurpose and adaptable and easy to install, and are used in numerous applications. Heavier woven wires must be pre-crimped as the material rests stable and rigid after the crimping process. Reverse Dutch Weave Woven Wire Mesh is ideal for both industrial & architectural applications.
Reverse Dutch Weave Woven Wire Mesh is available in different sizes and wide-range can be customized to fit your exact specifications in order to meet your specific application requirements.
Applications
Reverse Dutch Woven Wire Mesh is used for filtering dense materials since it supports greater loads than the dutch weave and has finer openings than the plain weave and is extensively used as the finest filtration in hydraulic systems, especially for critical applications, such as aero-space and fuel, etc.
