About expanded mesh

Expanded wire mesh specification the most versatile mesh uniformly slit and stretched, forming a diamond pattern of openings in the finished sheet and has numerous patterns by using the different molds.

Expanded Metal Mesh is available in numerous shapes but the most common is the diamond shaped aperture fashioned by an expanding machine by using a pressured stretching and slitting process to convert solid metal sheets into expanded mesh. The mesh is slit or perforated from metal sheets and is stretched to form a joint less single piece grill with no interweaves or joints. Since it is manufactured from one single sheet, it is ideal for model making and forming. Expanded Mesh or Expanded Metal Mesh is manufactured within a variety of specifications using different metals to suit a wide range of applications both as filter elements and filter support.

Expanded Wire Mesh is available in all types of alloys: Aluminium, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Hastelloy, Inconel, Iron, Monel 400, Mild Steel, Nichrome A, Nickel, Steel, Stainless Steel, Stainless Steel Welded, Titanium, and Tungsten.
