About knitted wire mesh

These loops can interchange relative to each other in the same plane without altering the mesh, giving knitted mesh a two-way stretch. Knitted wire mesh can be crimped or compressed to modify properties for specific applications. Moreover, metal meshes can also be crimped in a diagonal or herringbone pattern which allows the free volume and specific surface area of filters to be adjusted to suit pressure drop limitations and efficiency requirements.

Knitted Wire Mesh is available in all types of alloys: Brass, Bronze, Copper, Hastelloy, Inconel, Iron, Monel, Nickel, Steel, and Stainless Steel.
